He visited Europe many times, travelling to Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Finland, Belgium and Holland; and in particular he kindly accepted invitations to visit France over many years, and took many practitioners under his care, teaching fortunate students in the closed three-year retreats in Dordogne Francein the parallel retreat groups, and in public.
